Microsoft ended standard Windows 10 support on 14 October 2025. The PC does not suddenly stop, and a perpetual licence does not expire merely because support ended. What changes is the normal stream of technical assistance, feature updates and security fixes. Continuing without a supported servicing route can expose the device, the organisation and connected systems to increasing risk.
Move to Windows 11

Use eligible ESU as a bridge

Perpetual is not the same as permanently supported
A perpetual licence does not require a recurring Windows subscription for continued use of the licensed copy. It does not promise indefinite Microsoft updates, new features, cloud services, hardware compatibility or vendor support. Windows 10’s standard support has already ended.
Licence each active installation correctly
A single-device product is normally licensed for one active compatible PC. A product key is not a pool that can be shared freely across several desktops, laptops or virtual machines. Office, ESU and cloud services are not included
